Tires: tire leak, rapid leaks, slow leaks

I had a blow out and had to buy a new Bridgestone tire for my Chrysler Sebring.  It leaks when cold weather, had it checked for leaks, nothing.  Had it taken off the rim and they said manufactures defect and replaced it with another new tire.  Cold weather 3 days later and it leaked over night to 1 LB !  What could possible be the problem.  It is only the 1 tire, all others are ok and it is only when it gets really cold.

The odds of 2 tires leaking is .... well ...... staggering!

I think the problem is the rim and that more care (and time) needs to be taken to find the source of the leak.  Many tire shops are used to dealing with fairly rapid leaks, so slow leaks - which are somewhat difficult to find to begin with - get completely over-looked.

Find a place who is willing to take the time to find the leak.  It is there and impatient is the enemy here.
