Tires: Michelin tires?, toyo tires, michelin tires

My father has always been a big booster of Michelin tires. He has worked as a race mechanic for many years. He states that he feels my safety is #1 and he has seen virtulaly no problems with the brand.
I understand you do not like Michelin.
I have a 2005 Neon that I love, and will be replacing tires soon. I do a lot of highway driving and also city. Dad takes VERY good care of my car. What tires would recommend for me to purchase. They are currently 175-70-14. Should I stay with the same size?  
Appreciate any help / advise.

 Being a father (X4) I understand that SAFETY is paramount when it comes to my children and grandchildren.  My childrens' vehicles range from 4X4's to Beetles and ALL have Toyo Tires on them.  I have access to ALL brands of tires and yet I still choose Toyo, the products have never let me down in any aspect.

 Each customer that I have installed the Toyo brand on over the years has Never went back to another brand.  I recommend the TOYO VERSADO LX.  Yes I would use the same size if this is what the tire placard calls for.
