Tires: Passenger or Light Truck Tires ??, jeep grand cherokee, light truck tires

Hi there.  I own a 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee and need to replace tires.  I found a good deal on some appropriately sized light truck tires but the sticker on the driver's side door calls for "P" tires.  What are the implication/issues with using Light Truck tires on this rig?

 Generally speaking, a LT tire will not have a negative affect.  I assume your are referring to a 6-ply tire LT tire, if so, an adjustment to a slightly lower air pressure would maintain the ride of your vehicle. Normally 5 to 8 pounds less than the maximum recommended pressure.
