Tires: Winter Tires Sizes 2003 Chevrolet S-10 ZR5 4x4, r15 tires, emonton

Hello, I have a 2003 Chevrolet S-10 ZR5 4x4.  Actually I have Michellin P235/ 70 R15 TIRES.  I just relocated to Emonton Canada, and since we have snow I need to change to winter tires. Can I use the same rims I am using now? The sizes I actually have (P235/ 70 R15) are not common, can I use P235/ 75 R15 sizes or any other sizes without changing my rims?? what sizes and tires will you recommend me?? Thank you.

 The P235/70R15 is generally offered in sport tires or street designs as you have probably discovered.  A P235/75R15 is offered in many varieties and designs.  The 235 is slightly taller in diameter and has a more narrow tread width.  Keep in mind that the taller tire will slightly affect your speedometer, your speedometer will register slightly slower than you are actually traveling.  Otherwise, you should not have any problems using a P235/75R15 on your current rims.
