Tires: tires, toyo versado lx, quality tires

Trying to get quality tires for my 99 Grand Marquis. Snow is not an issue. I've been told that Goodyear Assurance ComforTread was rated best buy by Consumer Reports. I'm not so sure. Also told they're equivalent to Michelin. Please comment.

 The Goodyear is a good tire with a good track record.  Mileage wise Goodyear typically doesn't stand up as well to others.  You need to check into the Toyo Versado LX as well.  Consumer Reports will back up the Toyo as well.  As for the French owned Michelin, let's just say that I am not a fan.
