Tires: Douglas Tire manufacture, Douglas Tire Noise

I put 4 Douglas tires on my wifes Dodge Van in January 08. They are the noisest tires I have ever heard of. My noise than an iron tired wagon. The DOT # is PJU5 o11R 4007. I bought then At Walmart. I want to write the tire maker and complain about the road noise. Walmart said made by Goodyear. I another question you said if you had the first 2 DOT numbers you could identify the tire maker. PJ = Kelly Springfeild in Fayetteville, North Carolina.  Kelly Springfeild is wholly owned by Goodyear.

But let me suggest an alternative.  Go back to WalMart and complain to them.  As the retailer they are in the best position to fix your problem - a different tire - and they are not constrained to put a Douglas back on.
