Tires: Tire Size, goodyear dealer, 2006 acura tl

I had to replace my tires on a 2006 Acura TL, original size was P235/45R17. The Goodyear dealer sold me their Assurance tires but of a different size. P225/55R17. What sort of issues can I expect with this change in size. And would you recommend that I go back to the original size?

That level of tire size change is small compared to the difference between tires.  In other words, the difference in the tire itself is going to have a much, much larger effect than the tire size change.

However, call the dealer and tell him that you are unhappy with the change in size and that if there are any problems, he will be hearing from you.  See how he responds. Follow up with a letter documenting the phone conversation  That way you will have a record of what, if anything, the dealer offered to do, in case you do have a problem.
