Tires: H rating and T rating, nissan maxima gle, nissan maxima

Question
I have a 98 Nissan Maxima GLE and want to put on P205/65/15 92T Michelin x Radial DT tires.  These are sold at Costco but the technician says I need an H not T which is about $35 more per tire.  His only explanation was the speed rating on the H is up to 113 mile per hour.  I don't drive over 79mph and this is an older car.  Why can't I put the less expensive tires on my vehicle?

Answer
If you want the tire to blow out, and if you can find a shop to sell a lower speed rating, then get it.

Ok, the reason why you need a H.  Speed rating is not just for speed of the tire.  It also effects the load.  Each car weight is different and therefor each car has the set tire specs set by the company, in this case, by Nissan.

This is for safety.

Is $35 more worth keeping you out of an wreck?
