Tires: Tire size, 2003 chevy cavalier, chevy cavalier

Hi Barry,  I currently have a 2003 Chevy Cavalier that has 185 70R14's in the front and 195 70R14's in the rear. The front tires need to be replaced and I wanted to know if it would be o.k. to go with the same size that is on the rear (they are in like-new condition and don't need replacing for any time soon)

On every vehicle sold in the US, there is a label commonly called the placard that lists the original tire size and the proper pressure for that size.  I'll bet your vehicle says the original tire size is what is on the rear now, and the fronts are wrong.
