Tires: Replacement Tires for Honda Civic, michelin weatherwise ii, replacement tires

Question
John,

I need to replace all four 185-65-R14 tires on my 1997 Honda Civic.  I have narrowed my choices down to the (Sears) Michelin Weatherwise II or the Michelin Harmony.  I would like to know if there is functionally any significant difference in these two tires that would make one a better choice than the other for a small car like my Honda Civic.
For example is one superior in tread wear, or have better traction while driving in winter weather such as snow and sleet, or does one offer a better ride than the other.  It is my understanding that both tires are guaranteed for 80,000 miles.

Thank You,

Ron

Answer
Both are junk.  Those are the two tires that I do not recommend.
Well any Sears tire is junk.  They do not last or stop you.

The Harmony is a nice tire but it has problems.  I owned it one time and had trouble sliding ( stopping ) on dry roads.
I had someone else write in about poor handling on this tire.

So I would recommend the Michelin X Radial, which has Grip In Wet And Snow.
