Tires: Tires for 2001 GMC Safari van, gmc safari, safari van

I would like to know how to select a proper all season tire for a 2001 GMC safari van. I haul a camper trailer so I am concerned about load carrying ability. How do I determine or compare load ratings between tires. The stock size is 215/75R15. I replaced the originals with a set of Canadian Tire Motomaster SE's but they have worn rapidly on the front especially on the front passenger side. Any advice would be appreciated.

Each vehicle manufacturer selects tires based on the load carrying capacity of the vehicle.  So if you stay within the limits set by GM, the original tire size will be adequate.

BTW, these vehicles are know to be rough on front tires, so frequent rotations are in order - not to mention the alignment has to be pretty much "spot on".
