Tires: loud tires, dodge drango, alignment problem

just bought a dodge drango sxt 2003.the tires on it are in excellent shape GY-wranglers RT/S 265 R70 16 THE TIRES ARE SO LOUD U CAN BARELY HEAR THE RADIO,WHY IS THAT? IS THERE A QUIETER TIRE YOU CAN SUGGEST? THANK YOU.

I suspect the vehicle has (or used to have) an alignment problem and the tires have irregular wear.  Replacing them should reduce the noise level considerably.  But just so you know - your vehicle is basically a truck and quiet is not an easy thing to achieve in a truck.

Also, I really can't suggest another tire.  I work for a major manufacturer of tires and shouldn't make brand specific comments.
