Tires: tire sizing, honda cr v, tire sizing

Question
I have a 2002 Honda CR-V with 205/70R15 tires.  I can't find many tires in that size without turning in a whitewall.  I am wondering if I can put 215/65R15 tires on instead.  They seem comparable in size and I have a lot more selection.  Or would you recommend sticking with the 205/70R15's?  One more thing.  It seems all the tire stores want to sell me a "lifetime new tire package" with my purchase for $65 total.  Is this worth it or a gimmick?

Thank you.

Alan

Answer
It is highly recommend that you stay with the OEM tire size.
As for the "lifetime new tire package" that depends on what the plan offers.
For the most part, it is nice in case you need a flat repair or if the tire blows out and needs replace ( if covered ).
