Tires: Tire pressure for new size tire, correct tire pressure, william ford

I have a 2007 Mustang, the original tire size was 215/65 R16 with tire pressure of 35lbs. I have replaced with 235/50 ZR18 and I am trying to determine the correct tire pressure. 35 lbs feels to hard.

Ford lists this tire size as an option and lists the pressure as 32 psi.

This is probably not going to improve the ride much, but you should be aware that you went from a tire that is designed to give a fairly decent ride to a tire that was designed to give a lot of grip with little thought to the ride comfort.
