Tires: Tire wear, 20 inch rims, becuase

I have a 2004 monte carlo that is on 20 inch rims. I have gone through tires monthly at $275.00 a pop each becuase they are wearing like crazy. I am getting different answers as to why this is happening. Can it be the struts? Just simply an alignment? The brakes? A combo of things?

Everything you mentioned can cause irregular wear.  The question is which is it and is it more than one thing?

All these things have to be right for you to get good wear.

So why not start with the cheapest thing - alignment - and if that doesn't fix it, move onto the next more expensive thing.  When the problem is fixed, then stop spending.
