I just bought a new Saab 9-3 Aero sport sedan and i need to put winter tires. Now the tire size on the car is  225/45/17 91H and I wanted to know if it's safe to put my all new Pirelli Sottozero 210 with size 205/50/17 93H. The dealer told me it's ok! What are the risk, if any?

When I look up a Saab 9-3 Aero, I come up with a different answer relative to the tire, so you need to verify what tire size and pressure shows on the vehicle placard.

My book is fairly consistent within itself, so without this verification, I can't give you a good answer.

OK, this lines up.

Officially, this tire is smaller in load carrying capacity than the original tires.  Further, this is an Extra Load, which means you need to use more pressure just to get the rated load.  Overall, this is not a good idea.  

Besides this tire is smaller in diameter and that is the wrong way for snow!!
