Tires: Running 33s on front, 35s on back, wheels and tires, h2 wheels

Question
I have a  99 GMC K2500 and I purchased a set of H2 wheels and tires from a new H2 owner. The LT315x70x17 wheel/tire combination fits perfectly on the rear axle but I bought 2 new LT 285x75x17 tires for the front. Can running 33  tires on the front and 35  tires on the rear cause problems in my drive train?    Thanks for your advice.    Royle

Answer
Royle,

With a 4X4 or an AWD, you need to have 4 of the same tires in pretty close to the same state of wear, so the rolling diameters are very close, or the center differential is going to wear more rapidly - or worse, fail.

This is a terrible idea!
