Tires: replacement tires, michelin ltx tire, bridgestone firestone

Question
Hi Jack,

I just installed a snow plow setup on my chevy 350, auto, k2500,long bed.  I am going to buy new tires for all around use as i do landscaping in the summer months.
I'll stay with tires sizes recommended for the truck, but am confused as to what manufacture and style to buy. In researching tires and manufactures, i'm finding some manufactures  tires are better than others, and there are some tires  and brands to stay away from.
Iv'e looked at Michelin,BFGoodrich,Bridgestone, firestone and goodyear.  Pretty confusing to me.
Can you give me your preferences to manufacturers and tires?
Thanks,
Dick

Answer
Hello, Dick
I personaly like the Michelin LTX tire. It come in a M/S or A/T. The BFG T/A all Terrian is also a good choce.
whatever you choose make sure you get the light truck version.  The numbers on the side will be something like this  LT235/75R16 LTX A/S if it is a Passinger tire it will start with a P235/75R16.
