Tires: Jack, I do not need a tire..., falken 512, wheel weights

Question
Jack,
I do not need a tire for snow, the tires i mentioned were recommened by tire rack as well as consumer reports, just want the best decision....What benefits will i get with the Michelin, over the Falken and Bridgestone? I do not mind spending a few more dollars to get the softest ride on my 2003 lexus es 300 tire size 215/60r/16...thanks again!

hi,
i have a 2003 Lexus es 300 that i just purchased. it has 31,000 and need new tires. currently there are Turanza ls-v tires. I live in florida so a tire good in snow is unecessary. i would like a quiet smooth decent tire. i was told to get the turanza LS-H TIRES. the size is 215/60r/16. Please advise what my best tire should be, also the falken 512 was said to be good...thnaks in advance!

Hello, Steve
I like the Michelin Energy MXV4 tire. It's a little cheaper than the Turanza ls. Tire rack has the VR rated on sale for $122.

Answer
Steve, The MXV4 by Michelin is one of the best touring tires on the market. That size is made using the latest C3M process. Most of the time you don't even need to add wheel weights for balancing. I have had people tell me they got 70K and 80K off a set. Read the reviews at TireRack.com
