Tires: new tires for my car, michelin goodyear, bf goodrich

what can I expect to pay for the least expensive new tire for my car a dodge stratus 2001 tire size 205 65/r15. for all four tires? and do i need to get an aligment right w/ the new tires or can i drive 1000 miles and than get an alignment.

That size tire can be bought for as little has $50 each. PepBoys, Sams Club, BJ's or Costco should have them. You must realize like with anything else you get what you pay for. Most people don't take tires serious but they should, because you and your whole family are putting your life on the line with them. I have always spend a little more for the better brands. Michelin, Goodyear. All the major brands make cheaper off brands but the rubber compounds are not near as good. BF Goodrich makes a good Michelin off brand. The touring TA would be a good choice. In most cases you want need to have the front end aligned. Driving for 1000 miles should not be a problem. You should know within a couple of miles if there is a problem or not.
