Tires: right front tire, chevy blazer, pitman arm

Question
While driving straight or turning to the right-no problem..but when turning to the left a humming or rubbing sound comes from the front right tire. The noise gets louder the more I turn. What can this be? and what am I looking at for repair bill..(approximately)? 1998 Chevy Blazer, recently had brakes, and pitman arm, idler arm, lower balljoint replaced, and 4 wheel alignment.  Thank you very much for your help!

Answer
I'm going to guess your Blazer is a 4X4 and what you are hearing is the one of the front half shafts.  It could also be a wheel bearing.

You need to have someone look at those 2 items to be sure and the difference is cost is quite large.

Hope this helps.
