what is the law in Minnesota for the location of you plate. Can it be vertical or does it have to be horizontal.

Answer
The law does not specify vertical or horizontal. The law says it must be on the rear of the motorcycle, solid-mounted (not swinging), "clearly visible" and it must have a light.
