Motorcycle Safety & Driveability: can i ride?, 500cc, msf basic rider course

im 19 and never had a bike before but am lookin at buying a 500cc to 600cc bike people have said that i wont be able to ride a bike this big becuase of my age is that true ?

For your age and experience level, you should look for a bike no larger than 500cc for a 4-cylinder bike and no larger than 650cc for a 2 cylinder bike. If you take the MSF basic rider course first (call 800-446-9227) that should give you a good start in learning how to ride it.
