Motorcycle Safety & Driveability: biginner motorcyclist, suzuki dr400, suzuki gs500

Hey I have two questions, one about what size bike i should get for my stature and the other, what engine size are you restricted to when when you first start out. I am 16, 6"1'  and 224 lbs. As you can see i am quiet big for my age and I am worried that a smaller entry level bike might be to small for me.  I live in Pa if that makes any difference in what i can and can't ride. Your answers would be much appreciated

I don't know if PA has any size restrictions, that is a question for your local licensing agent/authority.

My recommendation is you find a bike with an engine size no larger than 500cc for a 4-cyl or 650cc for a 2-cyl.

As far as bike size goes, your best fit would probably be a dual-sport bike like a Suzuki DR400 or 650. It is possible that a sport bike like a Ninja 500, Suzuki GS500 or SV650 would be a good fit, too.
