Answer
Hello again Bill,
I just read an interesting piece that I found on the internet.  It may be of interest to you regarding the shelf life of a tire.  It seems that the answer is about 6 year.

You can find it at

2 months?  Nothing to worry about. Imagine how long they sit in a heated warehouse before they get to the heated shop that you bought them from.

Cheers, and ride safe.
