Motorcycle Safety & Driveability: starter shot?, loose wire, battery terminals

Hi pat hopeing you can help me i have a 01 kawasaki zx12r.The problem started when i bought new battery touched terminals to battery it started no problem, now i bolt the terminals dowm to battery  no start, i hear a clicking noise from battery box,was told by a friend to bypass the solenoid with a metal item i did still no luck. battery is full charged kinda out of luck with this money pit  please help

The starter could be shot, but it sounds more like an electrical connection problem. Leads to the battery terminals must be very tight and secure, even a little looseness can cause the problem you're describing. If that's not the problem, you should chase the leads all the way from the battery to the starter, looking for a faulty connection (loose wire, burned insulation, poor ground, etc.)
