Motorcycle Safety & Driveability: 2003 BMW R110S, bmw r110s, unpublished issues

Are you aware of any problems, or recalls that effect this model bike? I am considering what appears to be a low mileage example, but I have little knowledge past BMW's general reputation.

The R1100S is a fine bike and if you can get a fair price on it I'd get it. I can't find any recalls or problems with it, but you might call a dealer (by phone) and ask a service person if they know of any "unpublished" issues. BMW's reputation for building innovative, unusual and dependable bikes is well deserved. Should take you anywhere you want to go for years to come.
