Motorcycle Safety & Driveability: stall while riding it, coolant level, electrical problem

Question
I rode a 2005 Honda 600ShawdowDeluxe,only 50 miles. They stall on me 6 time while riding in 45mph zone. I follow all instruction that my friend told me. Every time it stall I have to pull to the side restart wait a little then ride again. I kept doing this many times before I get home.
I'm afraid to ride it on a freeway. Is it the bike or the operator.
Thank You,
NIMO

Answer
I'm not sure. I think I need more information. How fast are you going when you stall? What gear are you in (1st, 3rd, 5th, etc.)? Does the bike sputter and stall or does it just stop working? Does it stall after hitting a bump or turning the handlebars? Does it stall after you shift? Does is stall when you give it throttle, or ease off throttle? Is the oil level okay? Is the coolant level okay? Does the bike feel really hot? Is the choke stuck in the on position?

It could be a problem with the bike. It could be a problem with the rider, but I doubt it. It sounds like a mechanical  or electrical problem.

If you were in too high a gear at 45 mph (5th or 6th), it might stall if you squeeze the brakes too hard without squeezing the clutch. If you were in too low a gear (1st or 2nd) it may overheat and vaporize the fuel.

To help you solve the problem I need more information. Consider answering all the questions in the first paragraph, and maybe I can help more.
