Motorcycle Safety & Driveability: worry, stock motorcycle, body position

Question
When traveling at a relatively high speed, I often get the image in my head of me leaning too far and then being crushed by the bike.  I was wondering if it is possible for me to lean so far that my leg rubbs against the pavement thus ripping my leg off, or does the physics of it keep me up and safe?  Thank you.

Answer
A stock motorcycle will grind "hard" parts (pegs, frame, can) before any part of your body touches the ground, assuming your body position (leaning with the motorcycle) is correct. However, leaning that far over, if you hit a patch of sand or slippery spot, can cause the bike to fall and then you'll likely hit "soft" parts (elbows, knees, head).

Sorry about the late reply.
