Hi Orrin,
This Honda Accord in average great condition is worth about $9,000.00 hard money in most markets. That is if the paint is good and the inside is really nice and clean. Wholesale book is $9,404.00 and Retail book is $12,244.00. If you can buy this car for any amount that starts with a "9" you will have made a good buy ....under $9,500.00 and you have made a great buy. The car needs to be uber clean and already have the timing belt replaced etc. This car with its 4cyl would have been worth less back when gas was cheaper because historically the V6 is the preferred engine in EX Accords.

Auction Value is $8,629.00 and the
Trade In Value is $7,854.00
If you shoot me the state you are in I could tune those numbers up a little bit but the one variable we still haven't discussed is the P word ..."Profit" The dealer has a nice Honda Car with low miles (under 106,000) and if its clean then he is going to want to make something on it for his efforts. that's why I say that any price that starts with a 9 is a good one.
