Used Cars: speed, magic car, crowded city

i want to buy an already used 2006 rsx with 60,000miles already and i am being advised not to. reason because it is said to be too fast for me since i am still learning to drive and i am in a crowded city with a lot of traffic. please is this true? what do u advice generally on me getting the car?

First let me say you got good taste and at same time having an intelligent capacity for thought and reason.

When buying my first car I wanted something flashy and fast, my dad said flashy yes " but " a muscle car' " NO "  because you have no experience to handle it, drive a 4cyl for 2 years without tickets or accident and I will help you get a car of your choice. I did not agree with the condition at the time,  looking back I come to realize how right my dad was instead of being a spoiled teen whom get their way.
