Used Cars: used car, motor vehicle commission, gaurantee

Question
we bought a used car, dealer said we could return it if we were not happy with it,which we are not, within fourteen days, what if he goes back on his word where do we stand do we have any rights

Answer
Anthony, well first things first, you need to express your unhappiness with the vehicle, and see if he will take it back, like he said.  In the event he wont, you just really need to raise as much hell as you can, with him or whoever he works for.
Though this is not a gaurantee all the time, you definetly stand your best shot of getting out from under the vehicle in the first 30 days.  All states are different but here in Oklahoma, if a customer is displeased with a dealer, they complain to the Used Parts and Motor Vehicle Commission.  You will just have to see if there is one in your area.  But, even if there is the first thing they want to know is, Have you given the dealer an opportunity to make it right with you, so back to my first question...have you given him an opportunity to make it right with you in regards to turning the vehicle back to him, or maybe putting you in something different.
