Used Cars: used car we owe, saturn dealer, new saab

Question
I purchased a used Saab from a Saturn dealer 3 weeks ago. At the time of purchased there were no floor mats with the car. The dealer gave us a "we owe" which states they owe us new Saab floormats. It's going on a month now and we can't seem to get these floormats paid for. We've called almost everyday and received different excuses as to where the process is for getting floormats. I can afford floormats, but I expect that the dealer would follow through on their agreement with us since we gave them $20,000. What does the "we owe" actually mean? What are my options here?

Answer
Mike, I just had this question, Do the same thing, go directly to the General Mgr and don't stop in between,You will just get excuses.
We Owe means work or equipment promised and it is a legal document if you were to go to court. If this doesn't work let me know but you should get the results your looking for.

Question:  QUESTION: we have purchased a 2007 ford focus, from the dealer. upon delivery, we had but one key and pad. When we asked about the manual he said we just dont have them laying around. They did make us a second key, no keypad, or manual. the finance director, copied the manual on the computer so we would have something...Not good enought to read. So what are out options to get a manual and key pad. Who is at the top to go to????thanks Nancy

ANSWER: Nancy,
2007 Ford Focus, Unless this was a certified used car sale or promises were made at the time of delivery, they don't have to supply extra keys and pads. Dealers only give what came with the car when they bought it and that is all that is required. Very good dealers will always make sure there are extra keys and books just because they are a good dealer.
The manual is about $15 at the parts counter, Key is about $50 to $90 and the key pad is about $90.
If you want to go to the top, go to the General Mgr, second best is General Sales Mgr, I wouldn't try any one else or lower.
I can't tell from your question, If some one promised you these items then yes go to who I recommended, If not then it's just a courtesy to give you these extra items.
Remember you can always catch more bees with honey than vinager. If you go into the Gen Mgr and tell them your going to have your car serviced there and that you assumed at this kind of dealer you would have received extra keys and books, they will probably authorize for the extras.
