Used Cars: 1996 Saturn, saturn sc1, hi thanks

Hi. Thanks for taking my question. I'm about to turn 16 and have found a starting car. It's a 1996 2-door Saturn SC1 with 350 thousand kilometers. It needs new tires and a new battery, although it's in really good condition. I was wondering how much I should offer the couple and if the main problems with this car are easy to fix. Thanks again!

When you are talking about cars that old, with that type of mileage it is ALL about the condition of the car.  If somebody was trading that car into me, I would value it at about $300.00 to $500.00 U.S Dollars.  You could offer them $500.00 to maybe $800.00, it really depends on the condition, with it needing new tires and a new battery, maybe they would let you have it for about $500.00. That would be fair for both of you.
