Used Cars: Sold a car but its still under my name, pink slip, car dealer

Question
Hi. I sold my car to a car dealer in San Diego right before I moved out United States. I signed a vehicle transfer form and my pink slip when I sold my car to them. I sold it about a month ago and they told my that they will handle everything so I don't have to do anything. Yesterday I called DMV and DMV said the car is still under my name that nobody went to DMV to make the change. The DMV also told me that I have to mail them a Notice of Transfer and Release Liability form to them which I didn't know so I sent DMV the form right away. Today I called the dealer and asked them about this and they say I don't have to worry that they are working on this and it will take 2 or 3 more days. I am wondering is this situation often happens or should I start worry about it? If so, what should I do to solve this kind of problem. Thank you for your help.

Answer
No there is no reason to worry, a dealer does not have to (and way more times than not does not), put the title in their name immediately.  Now some states may vary but here in oklahoma, if I buy a vehicle from a person, the only way that I would go get a title in our name, is if the title was full, which does not happen very often.  But I would not worry about it, and the dealer is telling you it will take 2 to 3 days, because that is how long it takes to get a title back, once it is registered in the new owners name.
