Used Cars: bought a car, model condition, honest mistake

I saw an ad for a '95 escort in Craigslist.Thought it was just a guy. Said the car had 127,000 miles. When I saw it, I found out it was a so-called car dealer. I bought it for some damn reason. On the way home, i saw the odometer read over 180.000 miles. I emailed the attorney general. The dealer wrote exempt for the mileage on the paper.I thought false advertising since it was a dealer.  thanks

Yes it's false advertising, but the dealer will claim honest mistake.
how you missed looking at odomoter or not notice exempt written on bill of sale before delivery is beyond me.

We all make mistakes, miles don't come into play much with a 95 model, CONDITION is the key factor to outlast yout investment.
