Used Cars: Classic Car with no title, texas thanks, bill of sale

I found a car on craigslist,1965 F100.The guy I am buying if from says he has a bill of sale but no title. Should I just stay away from this truck? Its such a good deal, is there something I can do to make this work. We live in Texas... Thanks

I would just stay away.  That is probably why it is such a good deal, and there is probably something you could do, but more than likely it is going to take a long time to figure it out.  You need to find out who the last legal owner was, and start from there.
