Used Cars: used car, car fax, city province

Question
When i bought my used car i was assured it wasn't a rental by dealer and disclosure. I recently found out it was primarily owned by a major car rental company. Do i have any legal rights? What should I do?

Answer
Hello Tony,
If you have proof it was owned by a rental agency, (via car fax or any other document that states the v.i.n) you can take that to the dealer with the copy of the bill of sale disclosure they signed and demand your money back, or a replacement vehicle of equal value of what you paid originally. If they do not want to work with you, you have the option of contacting a lawyer and motor vehicle council of the city/province you are in.(make sure to let the dealer know that is a action you can and will take if necessary)
