Nissan Repair: gas pedal vibration, nissan pathfinder, odd question

i have a nissan pathfinder 2003 and my gas pedal vibrates when i accelerate why does it do that? my foot gets numb

odd question, i havent ever experienced this before.  my only advice to  you would be to check everything gas pedal related.  make sure its secure to the firewall and to the dash, also make sure the gas cable that is connected to the throttle is free from disturbance.  check for obvious stuff that you can do in your driveway to save a buck, otherwise this may actually be a dealer repair, i actually have no solid answer!  good luck tho, let me know what it is so i can pass on the advice - xxp_Sebby@yahoo.com.  thanks.
