Used Cars: Audi Convertible*, electrical mechanic, audi convertible

Looking real seriously at either a 1996($5995) or a 2004 ($17,999) A4's Cabriolet.
My mechanic says they are good cars, what do you think, any problems, what to watch for, positives, negatives ?

Hi John,
Audi's are good cars, the only issue I have seen come up over and over are electrical issues, once those go you are going to be spending a great deal to get it fixed. (as you need to find a electrical mechanic to properly diagnose it ) If there are no issues then you are in the clear!
