Towing Issues: Towing with a 2002 Ford Explorer Sportstrac, ford explorer sporttrac, fiat x1

Hi,
I am looking to tow a 1980 Fiat X1/9 from Duluth, GA to Detroit MI using a Ford Explorer Sporttrac.  Uhaul will no longer rent a tow dolly or a car carrier for Ford Explorer vehicles due to recent lawsuits do you have any suggestions?

I really have no idea what to suggest as U-Haul has done lots of research into what can be done and of course the recent law suits you talk about did not help...

If you could check with other rental places such as Ryder or Budget they might let it happen...

That or you could always find a used tow dolly to do the job with and when you get done you can always sell it...

But sorry as I got no idea what to suggest for this question.
