Used Cars: Bought a used car, leins, car title

I bought a used car from a used car dealer, He bought the car from an auction. The car title came back with a lien on it and in someone elses name. and it broke down within two weeks of buying it. I returned the car and asked for a reliable car or my money back and the sales person said no I'm stuck with this car with no title and a lien and someone elses name on it. Is this legal or can they do that.

It is not legal for a dealership to sell you are car with a lein on it , check the bill of sale it should say there is no leins on the vehicle, if there is they must take care of it. Contact a lawyer and ask what the law is in your area (they should tell you that for free) when you figure it out threaten them to sue , they will change their tune fast!
