Used Cars: Returning a used car in Texas?, volvo s80, 2000 volvo s80

Question
I just bought a 2000 Volvo S80 T6 last night about 5:30pm. It is now 4:30 am. I was driving to work (i'm in the U.S. Army) and the oil light suddenly came on, and the little information screen said "NO OIL PRESSURE - PULL OVER SAFELY ASAP". When I pulled over, transmission fluid (i believe) was pouring out all over the ground. Is there any way I can return this? I thought I remember hearing something about having 24hrs by law? Thank you and hope to hear soon!

Answer
The return policy on used vehicles varies by state - and it's hard to find on the web, but a quick call to the DMV should clear it up really quick - but the best thing to do is call the dealership the moment you can... Any respectable dealer will offer to fix it or take it back for a refund - because something like that will really hurt their reputation.. So talk to the dealership first.. they should take care of you - if they say tuff luck - call the DMV and find out your legal options - either way - you shouldn't have to keep the car (or if they fix it.. you can keep it.. probably wouldn't be a bad idea if you can get a bunch of new parts for free out of it)...
