Question
hey, i am going college this fall and i want to buy a used car from 04-07 , i want one in terms of reliablity, fuel effecient, etc. but i don't whether to buy toyata corlla or honda accord or any other. i will not be carrying too much cargo. also what is the best milage to buy, should it be under 30,000 miles? thanks so much for your time

Answer
Well you are heading in the right direction.  I think the Toyota Corolla or the Honda Civic or Accord would be my top choices.  They are both the best of the best in my opinion.  With that being said I would not be concerned with the mileage on the car, whatever fits your budget is what I would go with.  Of course I would run a carfax on any used car now a day, but if the carfax report is good and the car is in good shape, you should be just fine.  If you can find one with a little factory warranty remaining, that would be a plus, but I would not be concerned either way if purchasing a Honda or a Toyota.  Honda and Toyotas are usually Top of the list in Reliability, Fuel Economy and Safety.  What more could you ask for?  Enjoy your new car and good luck at school.
