Question
Would you know how much I should ask for a 72 cutlass supreme convertible in excellent condition (no rust, body straight, no dings, new paint aabout 2 years old) with A/C, power seats/ steering/ windows/ and top, automatic, bucket seats, 455 4 barrel, dual exhaust, black with white interior, runs very good, about 75,000 miles?

Answer
Well with a car like that you cannot go by blue book or NADA,  because a car like that is all about supply and demand, the right person might pay alot for it if they want one... I will research a little and see what you can expect... and from what I found it will really depend on how original everything is... the condition... and who wants it... I have seen them ranging from close to 23000 down to 5000... with similar miles, This is a situation where the car is rare, and to the right buyer it could be worth a lot... I'd say get it appraised... Without looking at it myself all I can really say is ask as much as you think is fair.. (~15,000 or so.. seems to be a good average... depending on the cars shape) a good collector could tell you what other collectors look for in such a car... I suggest browsing cutlass supreme forums (search google), and car collector websites/forums, but no one will ever be able to be completely fair without seeing the car.. Sorry I couldn't be more help, you have a very fine rare muscle car, I wouldn't sell it for anything less than what you really want for it... a car like that wouldn't be easy to let go of.  Good luck!
