would it be a good idea to start a trucking business of like 100 trucks and trailers if you had the money to pay for the trucks salaries etc?How much money would you make off of 100 trucks and trailers?

Dan, if you have the resources to buy a 100 truck fleet there are better(easier) ways to make money.  Depending on your experience, industry network, etc., if you want to be in the trucking business it would be quicker to buy an established company with a customer base and drivers.
It's a highly competitive business.
