Trucking: PUC regulation, federal aviation administration, intrastate trucking

I operate in Hawaii. We are presently regulated by the PUC. Are there other states that regulate trucking by a PUC? I'm looking for ammunition to de-regulate trucking in our state. Do you have any?

Frank,  The PUC can only regulate safety and registration issues under the Federal Aviation Administration Authorization Act of 1994.

I am not familiar with the PUC regulations in Hawaii but under Federal lay they cannot regulate your rates.  Hope this helps.
