QUESTION: I am currently in college and I would just like a local driving job. I only have a regular license and I learn fast and I am eager to learn. I could possibly do dispatchg as well

Answer
Doug, what is your major?  It's always good to get a job in your area of interest.  To get virtually any driving job you will need a CDL.  There are different classes depending on waht you want to drive.  Here is a good overview: http://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/registration-licensing/cdl/cdl.htm
Also check the SC DMV for their procedures since the states issue the actual CDL.  You don't need to go to school to get a CDL as longg as you can pass the test.  For a college student I would suggest starting out looking for courier or express delivery type work where you may be able to work around your class schedule.  It may not pay great but it's a good way to get some experience and possibly work up to larger vehicles.  If you want to get into dispatch it's always good to have some driving experience as well as goo geographic knowledge.
Here is a site you might check. http://www.jobsintrucks.com/
Good luck.
