Gary, I don't know where you are located but there are still jobs out there for good drivers with verifiable experience.
I just did a quick search on careerbuilder.com and found 5,087 jobs.
Do an internet search on "driver recruiting" and you will find lots of sites that specialize in truck driver jobs.
You may have to interview with many to find the right fit but there is probably one out there for you.  Good luck.  Jim
