Trucking: mcs-150 renewal, dot number

when did the government start this renewal of the MCS-150,when this dot number came out there was NO renewal on this i guest just another way so they can watch you

Hi Michael...
I'm not aware of a "renewal" requirement.  You are required to update/revise your MCS-150 every two years or whenever there is a significant change to the company's operations, but that is just to keep the data accurate in the database.  It isn't a "renewal" as such, more just a verification of the data.
